Welcome to Old Town Art Gallery. I am a local artist and my name is Carolyn Laumann. My husband Dave and I moved to Humboldt County in 2006.

My mother taught me lots of arts and crafts when I was quite young. I have been creating in one form or another ever since. When Covid started my daughter-in-law asked me to paint with her, and thus started my painting career, mostly in Acrylics.

I paint what I love, forests, dogs, wild animals, and local scenery. I really like creating things that make people smile, or that they can identify with. I love painting places around Humboldt County CA.

When I retired I started creating Garden Art from old dishes, silverware, and what-ever I could find. These I have sold under the name CJL’s Stuff at local fairs and festivals. You may even have one or two in your garden.
